A chilly wind disheveled his shaggy fur, making the male seem like the definition of 'just rolled out of bed'. Sol growled lightly, squeezing his eyes shut again, in the bitter hope of getting just a few more minutes of sleep. Snorting, he jumped into a sitting position as icy raindrops began to fall on his nose. "Damn weather." he mumbled, licking down the ruffled fur on his shoulder. With a yawn, the Manned Wolf stood, nearly bumping his head on the top of the cave he had been sleeping in. The first thing anyone probably noticed about him was his height, as he was very tall, thanks to his stick-thin legs. Sol slowly leaned forward, his muzzle sticking out of the cave, he blinked a few times at raindrops pelted his black and white muzzle, but he decided food was more important than caring about whether or not you were cold and wet. Stepping out, the male trotted through the forest, senses alert for any sign of rabbit - his favorite meal. Freezing in mid step, he sniffed, his mouth turning up in a sort of smirk as he caught sight and scent of a young rabbit. Crouching down, he slowly stalked towards the creature, his mouth watering at the thought of a meal. Something like a twig snapped from behind him, and the rabbit bolted. Cursing, Sol stood up, the rabbit already far gone. "Whoever is there, you owe me a rabbit." he said, not even turning towards the sound.

Sauntering along the silhouette of a dog flitted through the trees. A fresh from her pack newly released two year old female wold was darting after a small animal. It was swift and fast, but Cassie could keep track of it. The distance between them was large but she could clear it in a matter of a few bounds. the rain poured from the heavens and drenchd the females pelt, but it didn't slow her down enough. She slowed down noticing the animal was tiring. She may be sweet, but when it comes to feeding this wolfess does not play around. Staying in the shadow of a tree she lowered down and watched the animal run off into the distance. After a few moments Cassie rose to her appendages and trotted along after it. There was another scent in the heavy air, strong, and very near to Cassie. Curious she went to investigate, knowing that it would not be too far away from where she was situated, so she kelp low and her yellow orbs probed for the being. Ahead of her long slender legs attached to a red/brown colored animal too was staling, but it was after the prize Cassie had worn down. Keeping low Cassie flicked her auds as she watched the animal staling its...well her prey. MIs placing a paw, the silence was split by a small crunch. Cassie froze.

"Well, well, whadya know? A wolf." Sol particularly disliked wolves, much to fussy, also spewing and raving about their territories, and such. Who had time for that, anyways? Shaking the rain from his pelt, Sol turned paritally away. "Well... I'm pretty sure I was here first." Watch it Sol. he thought, even though he wasn't scared of a female wolf, especially one that seemed younger than him. However, rain and dampness didn't make for a very easy-going, happy Sol. This female better watch her next response, Sol could get quite nasty when he was angered.

Her orbs locked onto the animal as he began to talk at her. She flicked her banner lightly showing her disgust towards his attitude, but she said nothing towards him yet. As the dog shook his pelt, flecks of water hit her on the muzzle, and she pulled a face with a soft sigh. Closing her eyes for a second Cassie stayed calm, her nature was calm any way, but she wouldn't take any rubbish from a dog. Yes I'm a wolf. she said softly. Thank you for stating the obvious. Cassie then sat down on her haunches and looked around the damp woodland. I don't mind, I can hunt again. I'm in no hurry. She answered him after a while. A bird burst from a tree screaming its lungs out, her yellow orbs locked onto it immediately, and she flicked her auds to the sound. Blinking against the misty rain haze Cassie cocked her head watched the dog, he seemed to be waiting for something. Are you okay? she muttered curiously.
