First off, I would like to apologize for not being active for the past three days. I have been quite ill, and haven't been able to get out of my bed, and therefore over to my desktop.
I would also like to apologize for not properly introducing myself.
So hi! My name's Brooke, and my character's name is Pandora. I picked a bear because ever since I was little, I absolutely loved bears, and I've always wanted to roleplay one but never really got the chance to because of a busy schedule.
A busy schedule. My life is nothing but a busy schedule. I'm an equestrian and I own an Oldenburg x Appendix mare named Nike, and I'm at the barn five days a week. I would be at the barn seven days a week but Mondays I have tutoring for math (oh how it vexes me so...) and Tuesdays I work at an animal hospital because hey, boarding a horse and taking lessons is not cheap
. But despite my busy schedule, I do get about an hour in on the computer every night, whether for schoolwork or relaxation, but I will be fairly active.
If you couldn't guess by now, I'm extremely passionate about animals. I attend a Veterinary Science program along with my junior year at high school. I plan on working with animals throughout my life, and whether I continue on to be a DVM, I would love to possibly work as a trainer of exotics (such as dolphins, sea lions, bears, birds, etc...) or possibly go into research of animal behavior.
So I have a few animals at my house, this excluding my horse (who lives at a barn about twenty minutes away via car). I have two Golden Retrievers, Lily (who just turned 5), Ginger (who's turning 12 next month), two Domestic Shorthair Cats, Leonardo (turning 3 at the end of next month), Denny Crane (turning 3 at the end of June), and a mouse named Adelaide (who's like two months old or something). So yeah, quite a little managery.
I like to read and LOVE to write, as most teenagers who love to write, I'm working on a novel (and actually making progress, woohoo!). I love to watch old movies, Casablanca, Singing in the Rain, any Abbot and Castello movies, and Dirty Dancing (okay so that's not that old but it was made before I was born so it's older than me) are some of my favorites. I'ma also a HUGE Disney fan, but I prefer anything made before the year 2000, because (except for maybe Finding Nemo and Meet the Robinsons), anything made after that just doesn't have that ole' Disney flair.
So that's the rambling of my life, in short. I could probably go on for a lot longer and bore you to tears, so I think I'll stop now.
