How many people do you know that are really, truly, passionate about the planet we live on? How many people can you discuss your passion with? In this day-and-age, it seems that we are separated into three groups: -those who are passionate -those who care, but would rather others deal with it -those who couldn't care less And unfortunately, those who are passionate seem to be few and far between. At least, that's the way it is in New York.
So I created the EARTH, a forum where gardeners and Nature-lovers, and animal-lovers alike can come and have a place to share and discuss their passion. A place where they can come and always know that there are others who feel the same exact way about the planet we live on, about the beautiful creatures that surround us. But the EARTH is also a place where others can come and learn about the environment, learn about wildlife, read the debate of Climate Change.
Planet Earth is about two things. Sharing a passion, and education. Those who share a pasion want to spread it to as many people as possible, because they know how wonderful it is. And to be passionate about something, you must have a knowledge in it, some, any bit will do. Because...
"In the end, we will Conserve only what we Love, we will Love only what we Understand, and we will Understand only what we are Taught." -Baba Dioum
So are you an ardent animal rights activist or a natural area conservationists? Do you just love animals so much that it's hard to talk to other people sometimes becaus you don't think they'll understand. Well, here at the EARTH, we understand. So come on over and join on up!
